If you want to know about what bonsai trees can grow indoors than I will tell you that a common misconception about bonsai is that it grows indoors like houseplantsBonsai, like natural trees, needs to be exposed to a cycle of climate change and is better placed outdoors. Bonsai plants that should be placed indoors are tropical and subtropical plants. The reason is that they are suitable for stable high temperatures throughout the year.

What BONSAI tree to choose for indoor
There are several trees that can be grown indoors. The most common of these is Ficus. These are robust against various conditions such as low humidity.
Other commonly known bonsai which can grow indoor include Jade,  Ibotanoki,  Fujian tea,  Hawaii umbrella, and  Sweet Plum.

Reason to grow the main bonsai outdoors

As mentioned earlier, many tree species require a winter dormancy period. During this period, the growth cycle pauses, and the next growth cycle resumes in the spring, as the temperature decreases, and the sunshine duration gradually decreases. Indoor cultivation means that this process does not occur.

Indoor bonsai management

Because water and nutrients are limited. The biggest difference is that tropical plants require high humidity and lots of sunshine,
It is difficult to make indoors.
Specific care of indoor bonsai species
1. sunshine
One thing to keep in mind when keeping tropical plants indoors is how to ensure much lower sunshine than outdoors. Insufficient sunlight slows the growth and eventually weakens plants. Even when growing indoors, keep the bonsai in a well-lit place or in a bright place near the window.
Even so, the sunshine may not be enough, so artificial lighting for about 10 hours a day will help growth.
2. Humidity
Tropical plants may actually require much higher humidity than indoor conditions. It is particularly dry when using heaters and air conditioners indoors. Humidity can be increased by placing a tray filled with water next to the bonsai or by spraying with water several times a day. Alternatively, open the window during the day to circulate outside air.
3. Watering and fertilizing
Watering should be sufficient, but be sure to observe the bonsai carefully and apply the required amount of water when needed, rather than how many times a day.
4. Temperature
Tropical plants require higher temperatures throughout the year. Place it at standard temperature in the living room.
Subtropical plants can be at lower temperatures than tropical plants.
You can grow a good bonsai if you choose the tree species that suits your life and follow the indoor bonsai growing practices.
